'After years of nagging from the wife, I've finally put together this collection of works.'
Ivan 'Iki' Jurcevic has been creating art since he was a young child. Drawing and doodling mostly, it wasn't until his late teens that he began painting. Using oils and canvas for the first time, this opened up an entirely new period of creativity for Ivan. He slowly began exploring different techniques and mediums, never quite settling on any particular form, open to all types of expression.
Changing career paths in 2000, Ivan entered into the construction industry. With the learning of new skills, he has been able to combine this building knowledge with his natural creatively, resulting in new and exciting possibilities to create pieces that are not only artistic in style but functionally as well.
In 2014, Ivan became a father to a beautiful daughter. The following year, he stopped working in construction to become a stay at home dad. Around about the same time he uploaded his first video to his YouTube channel. Since then, he has been slowly but steadily uploading new videos of the projects he's been making as well as building an audience through his subscribers.
More recently, Ivan has been building and creating custom pieces of furniture primarily out of recycled and reclaimed materials.
Ever evolving, Ivan's art will continue to grow, continue to change... just continue.
